Taste The Mat's very own, Jessy Rose made her second pro MMA appearance this past weekend in her native Australia at Combat 8 against Muay Thai specialist, Eilleen Forrest and not only did Jess pick up a well deserved Unanimous Decision win, the fight between the two was an entertaining all out war. Jessy makes it 2-0 in her career with the win over Forrest and for those of you not able to see the fight, we have a breakdown of how the fight went for our favourite Aussie who continues to impress each time she gets into the cage.
UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon 'Bones' Jones has finally spoke up about a potential monumental clash between himself and long reigning Middleweight Champion and Pound for Pound number 1, Anderson Silva. The New Yorker said although he usually beats around the bush on matters such as this, he believes he definitely will square off against the Brazilian somewhere down the line.

Mitrione appeared on the MMA Hour just days after his UFC on Fuel TV 9 win over Phil de Fries and caused uproar with his verbal savaging of transgender CFA fighter, Fallon Fox. 'Meathead' called Fox a lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak which lead to the Promotion slapping a suspension on the TUF 10 competitor. It appear's now though, Mitrione is able to continue his UFC career with a fight on the horizon.
After his continued bashing of MMA and in particular his unflattering remarks about Cain Velasquez, boxer Tyson Fury may get his chance to back up his words inside the Octagon. UFC President, Dana White has offered Fury an opportunity to step inside the cage and face Heavyweight Champion, Cain Velasquez and finished off by saying the outspoken boxer would get smashed if he ever took him up on his offer.
After successfully making his UFC debut this past weekend at UFC on FOX 7 in San Jose, California against Frank Mir, former Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Winner, Daniel Cormier says he is willing to take fights at either 205lbs or remain at Heavyweight if it's against an opponent that will advance his career. Cormier grafted out a unanimous decision win over former Champion, Mir at the weekend and has been long touted as a possible title contender in both divisions, but Cormier says if he does move to 205lbs, he doesn't want a title shot in his first fight.

UFC Middleweight, Michael Bisping believes all he has to do is turn up against his UFC 159 opponent, Alan Belcher this weekend as the win is already in the bag. UK standout, Bisping is set to face 'The Talent' in the Co-Main Event this Saturday and he also said if Belcher does manage to beat him in New Jersey, it would be the biggest victory of his 'Pathetic' career.
